Being a Trainer on PixiLearn

PixiLearn is an open platform welcoming trainers driven by a strong educational vocation and a desire to share their knowledge and expertise with their peers.

Becoming a trainer allows you to take part in the dissemination of knowledge and the improvement of medical practices across generations and borders.

PixiLearn enables you to create unique educational content by integrating interactive clinical cases and multiple interactivity tools, allowing for practical training sessions directly transferable to your learners’ professional practice.

Clinical Cases at the Core of PixiLearn’s Pedagogy

PixiLearn aims to place learning through experience at the heart of medical imaging education.

Experiential learning encourages self-assessment of one’s knowledge, helps identify strengths and weaknesses, and pinpoints which skills have been acquired or need to be reinforced.

This approach allows learners to reflect on their own practice and measure the impact of their knowledge gaps on patient care — stimulating learning mechanisms that are far more effective than purely theoretical and passive teaching methods.

PixiLearn combines various educational tools to deliver immersive training experiences, such as:

  • Clinical cases viewed through the interactive viewer to train practical skills

  • Text-based lessons and video capsules

  • Virtual classes with real-time interaction with the lecturer

  • Tests through MCQs or clinical case report writing

  • Progressive learning paths adapted to each learner’s level

PixiLearn helps trainers produce courses tailored to their audience, supported by Pixilib’s guidance and educational tools to design high-quality training programs.

Trainer Selection Criteria

We are primarily looking for trainers with a genuine educational vocation, a passion for sharing knowledge, and a desire to engage in meaningful exchange.

Our trainers are all active medical professionals, experts in their clinical practice, and recognized by their peers.

Scientific activity is certainly an indicator of expertise but not a prerequisite — not all researchers are teachers, and not all teachers are researchers.

More than a CV or a list of publications, we value trainers who are dedicated to knowledge sharing in medical imaging.

We also place great importance on participant feedback and course evaluations.
For PixiLearn, the best training sessions are those that satisfy their audience and contribute to improving professional practice.

The Teaching Workflow at PixiLearn

PixiLearn’s uniqueness lies in the ability to integrate interactive clinical cases directly into the training experience.

We recommend structuring each course around clinical cases following a three-step learning path:

Introductory clinical cases

enabling self-assessment of strengths and weaknesses

Progressive theoretical lessons

identifying key knowledge, bibliographic references, and the state of the art in the field

Training and consolidation clinical cases

progressively challenging acquired knowledge through practical application

Courses can be conducted live through virtual classes, where participants meet online using an education-oriented videoconferencing system with shared teaching materials and interactive case discussions.

Alternatively, sessions can be delivered asynchronously, with educational content and clinical cases accessible at any time — while still allowing participants to ask questions to their trainers.

While we propose a structured model for innovation in medical imaging education, we firmly believe that the best training is the one that satisfies both lecturers and participants, which is why we provide a large degree of pedagogical freedom.

Pedagogical Freedom

PixiLearn’s mission is to offer innovative educational tools in medical imaging, enabling trainers to design original courses in both format and content.

However, we place great importance on each trainer’s freedom of teaching — we propose pedagogical frameworks but never impose them.

All available tools are presented to trainers, along with personalized support to help them make the most of these resources and integrate them optimally within their learning path.

Trainer Support

As a trainer, you will receive full support throughout the creation of your course — focus on your educational content, and we’ll handle the rest.

You will be introduced to all the pedagogical tools available to help you design your course effectively.
PixiLearn includes a wide range of educational possibilities, which will be explained to you to inspire and optimize your training design.

All clinical cases are anonymized by our team — we attach the utmost importance to data anonymization to ensure that medical images can be reused safely and in full GDPR compliance.
This anonymization process includes metadata and identifiable features such as facial details, following a maximalist approach to guarantee confidentiality.

Your viewer will be configured to meet your specific visualization needs, and clinical cases will be installed by our team.

Your slideshows will be reviewed to ensure perfect compatibility with our systems during virtual class sessions, and technical assistance will be provided throughout the entire training.

Pixilib takes care of all technical aspects — as a trainer, focus on your pedagogical mission; we’ll handle everything else.

Recognition

PixiLearn ensures high visibility for its lecturers and their courses, promoting access to a wide audience and highlighting learner evaluations as a testament to the quality of the educational content.

Training courses are open to all physicians, regardless of their specialty, practice type, or location. Courses may also be delivered in multiple languages, broadening the reach to an international audience.

Of course, lecturers are compensated for their commitment, in proportion to the interest and engagement they generate within the professional community.
