This policy explains which cookies and other trackers may be used when you visit the pixilearn.fr website, what they are used for, and how you can accept them, refuse them or withdraw your consent at any time.

What is a cookie or a tracker?
A cookie is a small file placed in your browser by a website you visit. It allows that browser to be recognised, during your visit or on a later visit. Other techniques play a similar role, such as the browser’s local storage: regulations refer to them collectively as “trackers”.
Some trackers are strictly necessary for the website to work or to remember your choices: they do not require your consent. Others, such as audience measurement trackers provided by a third-party service, are only used with your prior consent, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) and the recommendations of the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

When you click “Accept” or “Decline” in the information banner, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. This is not a cookie: the information stays on your device and is not sent to anyone. This tracker is strictly necessary to respect your choice; it is therefore not subject to your consent.

Audience measurement with Google Analytics (with your consent)
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to produce traffic statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, visit duration, type of device and browser, approximate geographical origin. These statistics help us improve the website and its content. We do not use them for advertising purposes.
The Google Analytics script is only loaded after you click “Accept”. It then sets the following cookies, under the pixilearn.fr domain:

<ID> is the website’s measurement ID in Google Analytics.
The information collected is sent to Google, which may process it outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which governs these transfers. Audience measurement data is kept for a maximum of 14 months in Google Analytics. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded. If you withdraw your consent after accepting, Google Analytics is disabled and the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies present in your browser are deleted.
Third-party content and services
Some pages use services provided by third parties. Unless stated otherwise below, these services are only loaded when you use them.
YouTube videos
The videos on the website are hosted by YouTube (Google). Until you start a video, only a preview image, hosted on our website, is displayed: no connection is made to YouTube. When you click the play button, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s “privacy-enhanced mode”). YouTube may then set or read trackers in your browser, according to its own rules: Google privacy policy.
Newsletter sign-up
The Contact page includes a sign-up form for our newsletter, which is managed with the Brevo service. Displaying this form does not load anything from Brevo. When you submit it, the information you entered is sent directly to Brevo, and your browser displays that service’s response page, which may then set its own cookies. The processing of your data is described in our Personal Data Policy.
Course catalogue
The Catalog page displays our course catalogue, provided by a third-party service hosted at catalog.pixilearn.fr and embedded in the page. This service is loaded when the page is displayed and may set its own cookies, which are governed by its own policy.
Training platform
The “Platform” links lead to platform.pixilearn.fr, our online training platform. It is a separate website, which sets its own cookies, in particular to manage your login to your account.
Fonts
The website’s fonts are loaded, each time a page is opened, from the Google Fonts service. This does not set any cookie, but your browser sends its IP address to Google’s servers in order to retrieve the files.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, a banner offers you the choice of accepting or declining audience measurement. Both buttons are presented in the same way. As long as you have not made a choice, no audience measurement cookie is set.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or the button below.
You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies and site data. If you clear this data, your choice will be forgotten and the banner will be displayed again on your next visit.
Your rights
The information collected through trackers may constitute personal data. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
